產品介紹 NELF-A (negative elongation factor A), NELF-B, NELF-C, NELF-D and NELF-E are components of the NELF complex, which is a a structure that negatively regulates Pol II-dependent transcription elongation. Control of transcription elongation requires a complex interplay between positive transcription elongation factor b (P-TEFb) and negative transcription elongation factors, DSIF and NELF. DSIF and NELF, act as negative transcription elongation factors by increasing the time the polymerase spends at pause sites. DSIF/NELF inhibition of transcription is prevented by P-TEFb in cooperation with FACT.
Function : Couples NMDA receptor signaling to the nucleus. Influences outgrowth of olfactory axons and migration of LHRH neurons.
Subunit : Interacts with CABP1 and KPNA1
Subcellular Location : Cell membrane. Nucleus. Found on the outside of the LHRH cell membrane and axons projecting from the olfactory pit and epithelium. Myristoylation is a prerequisite for extranuclear localization.
Tissue Specificity : Highly expressed in adult and fetal brain, testis and kidney.
DISEASE : Defects in NELF may be associated with idiopathic hypogonadotropic hypogonadism (IHH) [MIM:146110]. IHH is defined as a deficiency of the pituitary secretion of follicle-stimulating hormone and luteinizing hormone, which results in the impairment of pubertal maturation and of reproductive function.

保存條件  Store at -20 °C for one year. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20°C. When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent of antibody the antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-4 °C.

產品介紹 NELL1 is an 810 amino acid secreted protein that contains one TSP N-terminal domain, five VWFC domains and six EGF-like domains. Expressed in craniofacial anomalies, NELL1 exists as a homotrimer that interacts with PKC Beta and is involved in the regulation of cell growth and differentiation. Human NELL1 shares 50% amino acid identity with its chicken counterpart, suggesting that NELL1 may have a conserved role between species. The gene encoding NELL1 maps to human chromosome 11, which houses over 1,400 genes and comprises nearly 4% of the human genome. Jervell and Lange-Nielsen syndrome, Jacobsen syndrome, Niemann-Pick disease, hereditary angioedema and Smith-Lemli-Opitz syndrome are associated with defects in genes that maps to chromosome 11.
