Western Blot Marker是專門為Western Blot試驗設計的分子量標準。傳統的Western Blot試驗需要使用預染蛋白Marker來跟蹤檢測陽性抗原信號和轉膜效率。但預染蛋白Marker用在Western Blot試驗中有三大缺點：（1）預染蛋白Marker無法在膠片上曝光，曝光信號需要根據膜上的預染蛋白Marker來判斷，因此后續的圖片需要拼接才能兩者合而為一；（2）預染蛋白Marker都經過化學修飾，經過化學修飾的蛋白在SDS-PAGE電泳過程中遷移率發生改變，分子量信息不再準確，往往導致Western Blot結果判斷出現較大偏差；（3）預染蛋白Marker無法檢測作為雜交過程的陽性對照。Western Blot Marker由6種不同分子量的蛋白組成（20、40、60、70、80、120 KDa），其中70KDa條帶為藍色預染marker，其它五個條帶都可與人、小鼠、大鼠、山羊、綿羊、兔的IgG恒定區結合。Western Blot Marker可以直接結合二抗，或通過結合一抗間接結合二抗，因此蛋白Marker就能與抗原在同一張膠片上曝出信號，陽性信號可以直接通過Western Blot Marker的位置來判斷。Western Blot Marker不經過任何化學修飾，分子量精確。

The unphosphorylated form cooperates with AIP1 to suppress AKT1 activation. Dephosphorylates tyrosine-phosphorylated focal adhesion kinase and inhibits cell migration and integrin-mediated cell spreading and focal adhesion formation. Plays a role as a key modulator of the AKT-mTOR signaling pathway controlling the tempo of the process of newborn neurons integration during adult neurogenesis, including correct neuron positioning, dendritic development and synapse formation. May be a negative regulator of insulin signaling and glucose metabolism in adipose tissue. The nuclear monoubiquitinated form possesses greater apoptotic potential, whereas the cytoplasmic nonubiquitinated form induces less tumor suppressive ability.
